Ref: John 20:19-20 Jesus Appears to His Disciples
19 That Sunday evening[a] the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said.
20 As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord!
Ask yourself if those close to you know you by your scars (emotional).
Should we be known that way?
Notice the disciples were in one emotional state until they saw His wounds (Scars if you will).
Also notice He didn't display those wounds to just ANYONE
Jesus told us not to cast our pearls before swine, and to above all else to guard our hearts.
Today think about who you share or have shared your scars with and if they reacted as the disciples did (positive way) OR did they show you something else...
Think about it.
